Job Title:
Direct Support Counselor Position Description:
This is a caretaker position that involves coming into the home of an adult with intellectual disabilities and providing daily supportive services in coordination with individual support plans (ISPs).
This includes assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and behavior management.
Responsibilities of the job include:
Providing assistance completing program goals/objectives Completing program documentation for consumers Communication with management on needs of consumers and supplies Transporting individuals to appointments/activities Assisting with fund management and medication administration duties Any additional tasks assigned by supervisor(s) Our available Direct Support Counselor position will work:
Monday through Friday, 12am-8am, 8am-4pm, OR 4pm-12am.
Weekday positions pay $15.
75/hr.
Saturday and Sunday, 12am-12pm or 12pm-12am, and two 8 hour shifts during the week (to total 40 hours, if desired).
Weekend positions pay $19/hr.
Employees receive generous benefit packages such as a 401k with a company match, two weeks of paid time off, health/dental/vision plan options, holiday pay, and the opportunity for overtime.
We also promote internally so there is opportunity for growth! Requirements Must be 18 or older, have a GED or high school diploma, possess a valid driver's license, and have the ability to pass a background check.
CPR certification is a plus, but not required to be considered for employment.
